• The picture above shows 10 batteries simultaneously being charged.
• A quick scan of the charging LED's tells you the state of charge in each charging bay. Flashing green is charging, solid green is complete. Amber means calibration is necessary. Red means battery error.
• 1 hour to recharge a battery to 85% of capacity. The charge rate automatically decreases so as not to overcharge or overheat the MacBook battery
•  Charge ten batteries simultaneously. Each bay is independent of the others and has its own circuit board.
•  Two bays to calibrate the battery so you can trust the menu bar fuel gauge.These bays are charging bays too.
•  When the battery needs calibrating, insert it into one of the bottom bays and simply press the red button. The charger will automatically cycle the battery two times to determine the remaining charge capacity. This information is then communicated to the fuel gauge in the MacBook menu bar. After calibrating, you can trust the fuel gauge to correctly inform you about the battery charge.
•  The XK-10 is a front loading charger.

We have had our units for more than a year with daily use. The units work as stated. There were minor problems that were serviced under warranty. These problems were isolated to individual slots, so the other slots in the unit were still usable. Overall, this is a well built unit accompanied with friendly customer service.
